Emma and Nick tied the knot on a warm June evening surrounded by family and friends. Their wedding consisted of light pinks and hues of sage green all pulled together with traditional white details. We are so excited to share the behind the scenes of this couple's gorgeous floral reception! Emma and Nick had the most touching and romantic moments together! One particular moment to note was when Nick anxiously awaited the first look at his bride, which they shared in a private, yet beautiful location under a 100 year old Sycamore tree. He turned around and saw Emma, who was stunning in a gorgeous flowing white wedding dress and veil. They were all smiles as they began to read one another their hand-written vows. After tears were shed and kisses were shared, they made their way to the ceremony where their loved ones eagerly awaited.
The ceremony had white chairs and small cream fans occupying every seat for guests to use. Nick made his entrance, and soon after the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the brick steps. Finally, it was time for the bride to make her entrance. The sound of the string quartet began and there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. Emma linked arms with her Father as she walked towards her beaming groom. Once the “I dos” were said and the ceremony had ended, the party moved on to cocktail hour.
While guests enjoyed a signature cocktail out on the lawn, Emma and Nick made their way to the gardens where they had buried their bourbon. The classic southern wedding tradition worked and there was not a rain cloud in site on their gorgeous June wedding day! Following some sips of bourbon, signature cocktails and mingling, Emma, Nick and their friends and family made their way into the reception for a beautifully plated meal. The reception was full of flowers and greenery, all pulled together with candles and warm lights hung across the top of the tent. Emma and Nick made their entrance with a bang and began their first dance together as husband and wife on the checkered dance floor. Delicious entrees were served and the night had just begun. The night was full of dancing and glasses clinking as everyone celebrated the happy couple. Once the night was winding down Emma and Nick made their grand exit. The guests cheered and held up lights as the couple made their way to one of our luxurious getaway cars and took night portraits (look above for a peek at the photos). Emma and Nick were all smiles as they got into the Bentley and drove off, the perfect send off to any wedding.
We are so grateful that this amazing couple entrusted us with their wedding day! This summer wedding was nothing short of remarkable and kicked off the month of June with pure bliss. Thank you Emma and Nick and we wish you a lifetime of happiness! -MM
