At the height of summer, Ashlee and Sidee said “I do” surrounded by the support and excitement of loved ones and friends. Their July wedding was a breathtaking blend of classic elegance and cultural celebration and we were honored to be a part of this special day.

Their color palette of dark blue, light blue and white added just the right balance of softness and style to the day. The day began with quiet excitement as the couple got ready in our bright and welcoming summer parlor and lounge. Sidee looked incredibly sharp in his dark blue tuxedo, which he elevated with stylish gold accents that added just the right amount of flair. He and his groomsmen shared laughs and a game of pool while preparing for the big moment. Meanwhile, Ashlee looked absolutely stunning in a mermaid-style wedding gown with intricate textured detailing. The back of her dress alone turned heads, showcasing a unique and delicate pattern that completed her bridal look. With her hair in a graceful low bun and sparkling jewelry, Ashlee exuded beauty.

Before the ceremony, the couple took individual portraits and group photos with their wedding party and loved ones. Each bridesmaid wore a light shade of blue, creating a soft, romantic gradient that paired beautifully with the groomsmen’s classic looks. When it came time for the ceremony, emotions ran high. Ashlee walked down the aisle, arms linked with her father and Sidee’s smile said everything. The ceremony was heartfelt and filled with personal touches that make this couple so amazing. As they were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Sesay smiled, hands intertwined, as the crowd burst into cheers!

After portraits with their wedding party and guests, the celebration shifted into high gear. For the reception, Sidee changed into traditional Nigerian Yoruba attire, and Ashlee followed suit in a reception gown influenced by Nigerian and West African styles. Together, they looked radiant, each honoring their heritage with pride and elegance. Many guests also wore traditional Nigerian clothing, filling the room with gorgeous textures, vibrant colors and beautiful cultural expression.

The reception was nothing short of a celebration. Music, laughter, and dancing filled every corner of the room. One of the evening’s most memorable traditions was the money dance, where guests showered Ashlee and Sidee with dollar bills as a way to bless their marriage with prosperity and heartfelt well-wishes. From start to finish, the night was full of energy, ending on a sweet note as Ashlee and Sidee shared a private last dance, taking a quiet moment to reflect on their love and new chapter. The couple then left for their grand exit, with family and friends cheering loudly as Sidee sweeped Ashlee off her feet for a kiss.

Ashlee and Sidee’s wedding was a celebration of unity, culture and deep love. We are so grateful to have played a small part in their big day. It was a beautiful reminder of what weddings are truly about: coming together, honoring traditions and creating unforgettable memories.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Sesay!
